Blade Technician

Tasks and responsibilities

• Your key responsibilities, which will be carried out in close co – operation with the Maintenance Supervisor, will include:
• Support shovel service processes on-site, including as inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair work.
• Consult with the Blades Technology Department on determining the restoration process and assessing the complexity of the repair.
• Repair the site in conformity with the company’s own maintenance protocols.
• Control and site records should be double-checked.
• Follow written and/or verbal directions to complete tasks.
• Encourage the implementation of site security procedures, such as the administration of security guidelines.
• Provide technicians with on-the-job training for basic repairs.

Work experience and qualifications

• A technical diploma (engineering) or years of advanced technical experience are preferred.
• Wind turbine service and management experience
• Vertical rope training (IRATA) level 1, level 2, or level 3 (if not, we can provide)
• To understand basic paperwork and communication, you must have a basic knowledge of the English language.
• Working at altitudes and in poor weather is a must.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• The capacity to work while traveling
